Meet Dr. Rebecca Marshall
For more than 20 years, Dr. Rebecca Marshall has helped families answer the question underneath every referral: what's really going on with my child, and what do we do about it?
Dr. Marshall is a pediatric neuropsychologist specializing in the assessment of learning, attention, developmental, and emotional problems in children, adolescents, and young adults. She founded Pedia IQ in 2015 to give north Atlanta families access to the kind of rigorous, thoughtful evaluation typically found only at major medical centers, without the medical center waitlist.

Dr. Marshall has spent her career working in medical centers and schools alongside multidisciplinary teams of physicians, educators, and counselors. That background shapes how she practices today: evaluations designed to answer real clinical and educational questions, and reports written so that pediatricians, teachers, and therapists can act on them.
My approach
I have a passion for helping children and families identify solutions for their struggles, whether it be a problem with learning, completing assignments, difficulty focusing, or emotional and behavioral problems. Many families come to me with concerns that involve performance or focus in the classroom. Others come to me with concerns about emotional and behavioral regulation skills in the home setting. Some simply want to know more about their child's strengths and weaknesses.
My goal is to tailor psycho-educational, developmental, and neuropsychological evaluations appropriately for accurate classification, including potential diagnoses, and to develop an effective intervention and treatment plan when needed. Accurate diagnosis is essential for determining the right course, whether that is a specific academic intervention, classroom or test accommodations, psychotherapy, pharmacological management, or behavioral counseling.
Detailed evaluations are critical for determining which difficulties should be addressed first and what kinds of interventions are most appropriate. I enjoy helping families identify appropriate resources, including helping them navigate how to advocate for students in the school setting.
Dr. Marshall sees clients in Alpharetta, serving families throughout Alpharetta, Roswell, Johns Creek, Duluth, and the north Fulton, Gwinnett, and East Cobb communities.
